The following information was thoughtfully supplied by an Access-Able user.
First, I would like to tell you about my B&B experience in Ireland. I spent six nights at Sunnyside B&B in Blarney, Co. Cork. It is approved by the Irish Board of Rehabilitation and it was one of the best H/A rooms I have ever stayed in. I have had the good fortune to travel to over a dozen countries on several continents and have stayed in everything from "Paradise" to "Your worst Nightmare". The greatest thing was that it was one of the best I've ever stayed in AND it cost me the almost unbelievable price of about $40/nt. for two.
In addition to this double dose of good news it is run by a delightfully charming Irish lady (Mrs. Mary Walsh) who is the walking personification of the Irish saying "A Hundred Thousand Welcomes". I was so very happy to just be able to stay in a B&B and avoid the cold "Institutional" hotel experience and I was reminded of this pleasant difference every morning when I had breakfast with friendly fellow travellers from all four corners of the world.
I recommend this establishment more strongly than I can find words for. It can be found on the web at

www.cork-guide.ie/blarney/sunnyside/rooms.html  where all details can be obtained.
